49 seats is a small cafe located at 49 kreta ayer Rd. It sells special pasta and other food such as fish and chips that you probably will not be able to find it outside. Hmm what's so special about their fish and chips? You will know it at the later part when i talk about their fish and chip.

tomyum seafood pasta ($14.90)

When I first saw what this cafe is selling, I was very tempted to try their tom yum seafood pasta as I love spicy food and pasta. So when two of my fav are combined into a dish, Only one word could describe it. AWESOME !

I highly recommend this pasta to all spicy lover. It doesnt really taste like the normal tom yum taste that u taste outside when u order tom yum soup. It taste spicy yet not too sour and a little creamy. 

My dad ordered the chicken chop with mushroom sauce with fries and mashed potatoes. One good thing about this dish is, you get to choose what side dish you want. My dad choose fries with mashed potatoes. I'm not really a fan of chicken chop because i always hated how the chicken chop is not cooked tender but this chicken chop is one of the best i have eaten so far as the chicken is cooked well and tender. The mushroom sauce goes well with the chicken chop and make it tastier.

My mom ordered one of the special dish here. This cafe sell this very special fish and chip that you probably wouldn't find it in any other cafes. 49 seats sell fish and chips with their famous tom yum sauce and alscampi sauce. At normal cafes outside, they usually serve fish and chips in the usual nachos or mayonnaise sauce, But for 49 seats, they choose to serve with their very own in house famous sauce. My mom choose the one with tom yum sauce. This makes the fish and chips very special. If you like both Tom yum or creamy base sauce and fish and chips, dun hesitate to try this fish and chips ! 

After the first visit, 49 seats have officially become my fav pasta cafe as they sell really special pasta and food that you probably wouldn't find it in another cafe.

So i went the second time with my friend to try their highly recommended smoked duck aglio olio and creamy smoked duck pasta.

You will not be able to find this fusion pasta in any other cafe. This pasta contain mushrooms and duck meat for both the aglio olio and creamy one. I like how the creamy base is not too thick  and sticky. The thing i like most about the creamy smoked duck pasta is that the creamy base is not too creamy and it is fragrance. You an even taste the milky taste of the creamy sauce. my friend and I almost drink all the creamy base sauce ! This creamy base pasta is by far the best creamy pasta i ever had. 

The smoked duck aglio olio is as good as the creamy smoked duck. If you do not like creamy base pasta, you can go for the aglio olio one. When the pasta is gonna finish, its abit oily as the oil is at base. But other than that, it is still as nice as the creamy one.

So sorry i do not have a clear pic of the chicken chop with mushroom sauce and fish and chips. 

Do check 49 seats out. I guarantee its gonna worth that long trip down.
