Lucky the queue wasnt long when we went as it was late afternoon. Ordered the 3.50. The rice was sticky and fragrance. Go with the chill if u like it spicy as not only the chicken is good here, the chilli is good too as it is not as watery as other chicken rice chill. It is thick and spicy enough for me. The chicken has a sweet sauce which make it special and less salty as compared to other chicken rice store as the chicken in other stores usually used soya sauce to make it tastier.

Definitely worth the title of "Sg best chicken rice" It won my heart. However, would be better if the chicken rice is hot thou ):

my friend is a regular customer here and she recommend the brownie and so we ordered that


The portion of the brownie is big enough to share among two person and for only $6, its super worth it. In other cafes, you can easily get brownie at this price, but definitely not as big as the brownie sold here. The brownie is put on top of full cream milk. It goes well with it. The brownie came pipping hot and thats what i love about it as the weather are so cold today. The top of the brownie is crispy but soft inside. The brownie contain nuts inside too

The ambiance of this cafe is so good We totally sat down here for 2 hours as it was raining heavily.

After the rain stop, we decided to walk to duxton st and came across this vintage cafe that is rather quiet. As we were craving for ice cream, we decided to check it out.

We ordered a single scoop which cost us $4.80 each. It is quite affordable thou compared to the famous ice cream we eat now such as llao llao , etc. The new york cheese cake is a bit too gelate and sweet for me. The earl grey is good. It isnt too sweet which somehow bring a bitter taste aftertaste which is pretty special.




The ambiance of this shop is so good. we cant stop taking pictures on this wall. Hahah.

It has been a super fun and fattening day and of cos broke. Haha but tanjong pagar is really a good place to explore on food places as we can easily walk down to other areas such as clarke quay or chinatown from tanjong pagar. Not only the food is good, its also affordable too. So why not?
